HMC Smart Countertops installed granite a countertop with undermount sink and tile backsplash for us. They were very responsive to our requests, reasonable with competitive pricing, and met our quick timeline for installation. Cristina brought samples to our house when she took the measurements so we could see the colors with our paint and lighting. The granite was cut perfectly and the tile installation needed several cuts due to all the outlets - they did an excellent job and the project was complete by 3pm the same day. We are very happy with their service and plan on using them again.

I am a real estate broker who used Thumbtack to get estimates for a client who wanted to install granite counters in their kitchen prior to putting their home on the market. The sellers were impressed with Frank. He was reliable, honest, and did great work. He is highly recommended by my clients and i am sure that I will call him in the future for more help.

No job is too small...I had a 1/2 inch chip in my granite countertop near the sink. Mike was very friendly and kept the workspace clean. He completed the work in a timely manner. Only reason he was rated a 4, is that the epoxy fill used on the granite wasn't a perfect match (color wise).

We needed the gap in a granite countertop shaved to accommodate a new sink that was larger than the previous sink. Q-Stone arrived within an hour of our phone call, took a look at the project, explained their process, and went to work. They measured carefully, primed the area to control dust and debris from the cutting, shaved the granite to fit the new sink perfectly, and cleaned up after themselves. They were skilled, polite, professional, and efficient. We were able to install the new sink that afternoon and it fit exactly. Highly recommended.

Petros Renovation touched up a crack in my kitchen granite countertop top today that was caused by another company securing my under mount sink. It was buy a new counters or see if someone could fix it. I text them on a weekend evening, they responded within minutes requesting a picture. After agreeing he could artistically match the crack with the granite pattern, he patiently waited to schedule on my time. No pressure. I am very pleased with the repair that included 2 coats of sealant for a very reasonable price! Thank you

Ever tackled a big remodel job for us and did an excellent job. He installed laminate floors throughout our home and remodeled our kitchen (painted cabinets, installed granite, and new backsplash). He also completed several painting projects (trim & bedrooms). He was easy to communicate with and finished the job within a reasonable amount of time.

I hadn't heard from my granite installer after contacting him for a week and needed a fast response in order to get my kitchen done in time. In minutes of putting a request on Thumbtack, I heard back from Melissa. She was responsive and worked things on her end. I ended up hearing back from my original installer not too long after talking with her, but was very impressed with their professionalism, immediate response, and willingness to work with me.

I discovered Watson Tile from their ad in the paper...Is Your Bathroom Ugly?....and boy was my bathroom ugly. I had pictures from a hotel in NY that i wanted to replicate...and Watson Tile really delivered. The crew was so nice and friendly and paid a great amount of attention to detail. I loved my bathroom remodel so much that I have had them install granite countertops in my kitchen...tumbled marble backsplash the next year and recently covered my fireplace hearth with granite slabs. I am getting ready to redo the hall bath. Great ideas...great service..and great quality

Hire this company! Edwin is very professional and he and his team were great to work with and always communicative and prompt. Their work was great quality. I hired him for a number of various jobs and each were completed with precision. He installed a built in mud room, a new cabinet coffee bar for our kitchen, installed a vent-a-hood, put a granite countertop in 1 bathroom and built an in closure for our cat box. We have slowly remodeled our home over the last 5 years and worked with a number of contractors and Edwin and his team are by far the best!

About

Granite is an excellent choice for kitchen countertops, floors, and other heavily used surfaces. Granite is an igneous rock, which means that it was once molten and formed as it cooled deep within the earth. Minerals within granite typically appear as small flecks throughout the stone, once creating a "salt and pepper" look. Other types have veining similar to marble. Granite is a dense-grained, hard stone. It can be highly polished or finished in a variety of other ways. A broad spectrum of color is available. Granite, quarried from the mountains of Italy, the U.S., India, Brazil, China, and dozens of other countries around the world, is one of the most popular natural stones in the market. Granite received the highest overall performance rating, according to a leading consumer magazine, as a kitchen countertop material. While some synthetic surfaces scratch easily and melt under hot cookware, granite resists heat. Granite is also one of the most bacteria-resistant kitchen surfaces, and it is not affected by citric acid, coffee, tea, alcohol, or wine. It is also nearly impossible to scratch and, with proper cleaning, will not stain under normal use (ask your professional contractor about sealants available to further improve resistance to staining). Available in a striking array of colors, granite's exceptional strength makes it ideal for kitchen countertops and other heavily used surfaces, including table tops and floors, exterior applications such as cladding, paving and curbing.
