FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a perfectionist and perfection sometimes takes time. I also have an eye for detail so the tiniest little inperfection catches my attention. Because of this, I generally do not charge by the hour, but by the job. Because each job is different, for example; website design can be as simple as a single picture and a few words or as complex as artistically displaying goods that you wish to sell and setting up a 500 page site to sell those goods. Photo enhancement or restoration can be as simple as removing "red-eye", blemishes, or whiting teeth. It also can be very time-consuming when the photo is severely damaged. Some photos cannot be restored to a good quality, but can be enhanced with techniques that I use. I need to actually see the photo(s) before I can accurately determine the amount of work needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For the initial meeting, I will meet with new customers in a public place, like a coffee shop or library. In today's world, it allows us both to feel a bit safer. We will discuss the job and expectations of the job and set up any further appointments as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I owned and operated a Desktop Publishing business for over 2 decades. In the course of this business, I developed the skills needed to make beautiful presentations. My love for photography started as a child. I have owned many cameras over the years and have photographed a variety of subject matter over the years. I especially love nature and nature shots and people. Combining the two brings the best of both worlds together to create that perfect shot.
