He worked with me, never making me feel I had limitations, all while making sure he understood if there were any pain points for me and taking advantage of my strengths in relation to my arm. But mostly, we simply worked on standard attacks and defenses. He demonstrated them clearly, identified what I needed to correct in my technique, gave encouragement and affirmation when I landed a strike or combination properly (that felt so good!). We talked over real world scenarios that are threatening, but with his humor I was able to remain loose and not tense up. All in all, a great instructor. Attuned to how I was doing. He knew when to push and when to back off a bit. The training sessions were extremely rewarding and he gave me tips to practicing at home. EXCELLENT."See more
