FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a standard day rate for my animation services. You can get a full day's work out of me for 500 USD. If your animation is shorter in length then chances are that day rate will cover it. If you are on a budget and just looking for something simple, please don't hesitate to message for a negotiation, I'm very flexible. If your project requires a lot of original and complex illustrations to be created by my artist then you could see a separate fee, but that rarely happens. If you need sound design or script writing then those are usually smaller fees but they also depend on the type of work you want done. I'm very reasonably priced and work very hard to ensure my client's vision comes to fruition.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love getting to know the customer a bit and learning about the idea they are trying to bring to life. We'll typically talk about suspense date, budget, target audience and desired products. Afterwards, I have the client sign a contract to help protect us both legally and immediately start work on their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a freelance motion designer but I also have 6 years working experience in photography, video production, audio production and graphic design/illustration as well as a Syracuse University education in Television, Radio and Film.
