An oil producer had made an offer for my royalties on 40 acres, of 3/16 and I would pay for all of the production and transportation charges. Even though for numerous years in the oil patch, I had written many leases, I did not know how to precisely word the new OG&M lease that I knew was legal and acceptable to which I was entitled. The initial on line and one phone call consultation was quick and to the point, Kirby Portley said, "We can fix it." An on line agreement between Portley Law and myself was accomplished within less than 24 hours, my new Red Letter Lease, ALL in MY favor, was sent electronically within 72 hours, I had it notarized here in the Philippines and sent an electronic copy and air mailed a hard copy to the producer. The producer was well satisfied and I stood to gain another 1/16 royalty with NO production or transportation costs at all. I will use this firm again for yet another 80 acre lease that will be come due soon.

Car Wrecks - 1/3 before trial, 40% at trial. Divorces - $1500 uncontested, $2500 contested (retainer billed against hourly). Wills - $1250 for an individual; $1750 for a couple. Litigation - $2500 district court, county court. Drafting - $450 simple matters, $750 complex matters
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We normally get witness statements and get a rental car for our customers who are injured. Then we try to get their case settled as soon as possible and we either settle with the adjusters or file a lawsuit against the wrongful party as soon as possible.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Small LLCs to individuals hit by drunk drivers.
