FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would have to say no not really and I'll explain why. In order to give a quote on a deck, arbor or patio cover we need to come out see what it is you would like or help you design the best for the money for you. Also the ground elevation has a lot to do with how it's all bid out. I'm a small deck company there's only 3 of us so I like to meet you and give you the best price possible. I'm not a high pressure sales guy. I come out free of charge and help design your project with you and then break the cost down material and labor and actually write out a descriptive contract for you telling how it will be built and not a contract with check marks. Plus material is always changing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a time to meet with both the husband and wife at the same time. It makes the process easier as we all discuss what it is they are looking for. We then will sit down and put the ideas down on paper and draw it to scale. Then we discuss pricing and majority of the time I give a quote with in 24 hrs. When I give a quote I like to spell out how the project is going to be built so they know the process and there is no miscommunication between the customers and I. Then if they choose to go with me I get the contract signed and we order material and get started. I never want my customers to feel pressured in signing with me. I take pride in what I do from the start of conversation to completion of the project. I work on one job at a time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

After high school I took a architectural drafting course. Ive been in residential construction for about 30 yrs and love what I do
