This pass summer we had several project done on our backyard. And dealt with several contractors. But Martin is one of the best we have had this year. He worked on our kitchen in moving some cabinets around the kitchen and stain our cabinets. He did a great job! Everyone who have since it just can't believe it's the same kitchen. He is on time, cleans his work area everyday and listens to our feedback. Besides these great qualities he works hard everyday. We will be remodeling our master bathroom and will be hiring him for that project. He not only does the work with his crew but has great ideas when planning projects. Martin is currently finishing another project we ask him to do for. And it's turning out great! Great job Martin and crew!

We had a room added to our house with Preferred Remodeling. It was thousands less than what others had quoted. He also finished in a reasonable amount of time. He was very professional, and he had a crew that was pleasant and professional as well. I would hire him again if I needed some work to be done!

Martin did an outstanding job for us on building our exhibit booth. He helped with the design, spotting errors/issues we had overlooked and coming up with solutions. His work was fantastic and the whole project was a great success. He is highly skilled, has all the tools and equipment and is an incredibly nice guy, I could not recommend him highly enough.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Research your contractor before he/she becomes your contractor and check references, especially if you are investing in a large project. Nothing is worse than being stuck in a relationship that is not pleasing to you. Avoid this by doing a little homework. Be clear on your expectations when discussing your project with your contractor. This will help ensure the most desirable outcome. Discuss upcoming important dates and your own work schedule and sleeping/waking hours prior to hiring to ensure that there is no scheduling conflict. Keep at least half of the total payment until you have walked through the completed project with your contractor and have created a punch list with a definite completion date. Good luck! :)
