Damon replaced my carped large area living and dinning room with wood floors and I love it. Beautiful job and did work as described. Will definitely use them for my next project

Hiring Floormasters of TX was a terrible experience and one I regret. I contracted with Damon Moore, owner/installer, in March 2016 and as of this date, August 11, 2016 my wood floors are still unfinished. Damon lacks professionalism as he would work 2-3 hours a day, showing up at 10:00 or 11:00 or sometimes not at all. Currently, he is totally unresponsive; I haven't seen him in over two weeks. At this point, I have hired another installer to complete the job that was left undone. Once he had his money, his complete disregard for high standards and completing the job became non-existent. His expertise in the finishing details are poor; bullnose molding joints did not line up properly, adjoining wood to other types of flooring, e.g. tile. are uneven. Wood adjacent to doors were sloppy and jagged. Quarter rounds had to be reinstalled several times due to the moldings popping open around curves. Damon used two different types of quarter rounds down the hallway and around pillars in dining room requiring them to be taken out and replaced. He was not proficient in laying wood on steps. He left steps leading to the master bedroom unfinished. He did not clean up properly, leaving bits of trash and small pieces of wood on the floors. He was careless with the glue; leaving it on several pieces of furniture, doors, floors, and bathroom sink. There are many gaps throughout the house where he didn't take the time to connect the pieces together properly. The skill level of his work is below average at best and it has been an extremely frustrating experience working with Floormasters of TX.
