I needed to upgrade my insulation, and I contacted five companies overall. Of the five, Texas Shield advised me of my minimum needs (R38), informed me about the entire CPS Energy Rebate process, and didn't try to upsell me on items that wouldn't add value or comfort to my home. We weren't interested in foam or alternate forms of radiant barrier. One item that they did offer that the other companies did not was a solar attic fan. We did our homework, and we thought the proposal from Texas Shield was the way to go. They were late to the estimate appointment, yet they were very apologetic and worked with us to meet ASAP. On the day of installation, the crew was respectful of my home, keep all conversations professional, and make the follow-up for the CPS Energy Rebate super easy. Now, my attic looks like a winter wonderland, and the house is already feeling cooler!

It was a pleasure working with this company the installers worked hard, and completed the work faster than I thought. Everyone was very professional and kept the area clean. Overall great experience, if we decide to insulate our walls we will work with Texas Shield again.

They gave us a good price, did well at communicating, and did good work. There was an issue with some insulation coming out of a leak in the vacuum, but they came back very willingly and helped clean up.
