- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, we can get color selections for several rooms done in an hour. This includes trim , ceiling , wall and sometimes floors. I charge $100 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We chat on the phone first- I want to make sure I can be of help for the client's project. Next we meet at the site , and I bring paint decks from several quality paint companies. Colors get selected after tuning into the space and the needs of the client. I always suggest painting sample swatches on the wall to make sure the color reads well in morning, afternoon and evening.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a working artist since 1985, trained specifically in decorative painting at Broussard School in NY. I apprenticed in Houston, Tx at Decorative Arts of Houston for many years, and have had my own firm since 1985. I have collaborated with many skilled interior designers , and worked on high end residential projects for over 30 years. I am intuitive about the client and what will work in their space.
