In Feb 2024, during freezing temps, a pipe along our outside wall of our house burst. In doing the repair, the plumbers had to remove about 6 bricks, all of which broke apart when removed. Then, they didn’t repair the wall, didn’t cover it up in any way or even refer me to someone to close it up, with freezing temps forecasted all week. I’ve never hired a mason for anything, much less 6 bricks. I had a hard time finding someone to do this since it’s a small job and hard to find a brick match. The side of the house had that hole in it for almost a full year when I finally reached out to GQ Masonry. It took some coordination and some patience on their part to get as close of a match as they could. They were here and gone within an hour, and even left me a few extra bricks in case we need them in the future! Kind, good work, and very fair pricing. Thank you!

We had an SUV knock over our brick mailbox. We hired a different contractor who not only showed up late, but couldn’t fix it because he didn’t bring any tools. The next day he didn’t reach out, message or call. Never showed back up. I reached out to GQ Masonry and Construction. They were on time, great communication, and fixed everything at a fair price! We’ll be looking to do some additional remodeling in our back yard and when we do, these guys will be the first we’ll call. Thank you GQ for coming to the rescue at late notice A+++

I hired Alfred (owner of GQ Masonry) to repair cracks / gaps in the mortar around the exterior stone of the house, some areas were high up needing a ladder, and also inside at the fireplace stone surround. Also had him tile the shower ceiling and repair a tile area on the patio. He also created a flower bed edging in stone. He is versatile and had a team of 5 guys that did a good job, and my only issue was that they didn’t protect the floor / area under the work areas well enough to keep them clean - however he came back out and cleaned those areas very well. I appreciate his willingness to keep working until the job was complete to my satisfaction and all the work and clean up was done. He likes to point out his attention to detail, and I appreciate his detail. I will hire him again and have given my neighbors his contact info if they need work. These guys all spoke English which I appreciated, so that I can explain well what needs to be done, since I do not speak Spanish or another language.
