What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is simple and many times we depend on the insurance scope of damage and pricing as a part of our contracts. We seldom do complicated estimates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. We are members of the NRCA and attend at least 2 seminars per year to stay atuned to all changes taking place in our industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did so after serving 20 years in the insurance business. I found that storm related claims was an interesting aspect of homeowners and decided that helping in the construction end of the claims was most rewarding to me and my customers.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Roof replacements, siding, windows and gutters. Most are funded by insurance damage. We are one of the leading metal roof replacement companies in Central and South Texas.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently remodeled a historic ranch home in Uvalde County. The ranch home was built in the late 1800's and was a huge undertaking. The cost was in excess of $150,000, some funded by insurance. We did additions, remodeling, siding, windows, doors, metal roofing and a lot of restoration to the main house....
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many companies like us to choose from. We can't compete with those who have no office, insurance, warranty, or staff. Because of this, we are not always the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either. We have an extremely extensive reference list and stand on our "A" ratings in the BBB and Angies list as proof. Be careful of the contractor you choose....
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We are fair, honest, reliable and professional in what we do. Plain and simple....
