I create one-of-a-kind wet plate collodion portraits — hand-crafted images on metal or glass using a photographic process from the 19th century. Each plate is an original, a physical object that captures light, time, and presence in a way digital photos cannot. Sessions are intimate and guided, whether in my studio or on location. You don’t need modeling experience — the process itself becomes part of the artwork. I work with individuals, artists, and anyone looking for a portrait that feels alive, deliberate, and timeless. Every image is an experiment in craft, chemistry, and light. My background in independent studio work and custom equipment building allows me to merge historic processes with modern artistic sensibilities.
