FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All SLP sessions are now all-inclusive, with ALL of the hand-edited high-resolution digital images from your session (and a print release) INCLUDED in one simple fee. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to book your session and is applied toward your session fee. The remaining balance is due one week prior to shooting. Session fees also include: the time and talent of photographer before, during, and after the session; an on-location or in-studio session, professional editing and retouching of all gallery images, and an online viewing gallery. We are a full-service studio and also offer professional prints, canvases, albums, and keepsakes for purchase. Browse our gorgeous products on our website under the "Pricing" tab.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to not only create gorgeous images for you, but too get to know you and your family so you have an amazing experience! After booking your session, I will call you for your session pre-consultation- where we chat more about your ideas for your session, your goals for your images, products that you may want for your home, wardrobe, special props and shots you'd like-- in other words: all the fun details! After we meet for your session and have a blast creating the images, I need another 7-10 days to full edit and retouch your gallery. I then will send you your gallery where you can then download all of the gorgeous images and print them as much as you'd like! But I never leave clients on their own- I am still available to help you choose artwork for your home, to design an album should you want to order one, and to lend my expertise to help you make the most of your investment!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught photographer that has been in business since 2013. Since then, I have attended conferences and countless workshops to study and perfect my craft- both technically and artistically. Additionally, I am a former educator and early education specialist. I have abundant experience working with children of all ages- from brand new babies and toddlers to "tweens" and high-schoolers. And probably most importantly, I am a mom myself. :)
