Both of my daughters have been attending Bell Sport Karate for several years. Stacey is an excellent instructor, perfectly balancing disciple and nurturing. My girls have learned to push themselves and to strive for excellence. The classes offer a great balance of art, sport, and self-defense. Advancement only comes with work, unlike other classes where you basically pay for the next color belt. My girls have learned karate, of course, but they have also learned confidence and discipline. I am forever grateful for all Bell Sport Karate has given them.

My 3 boys and I took self defense classes from Renee in preparation for a trip out of the country. Even though my boys' ages vary from 8 to 17, she was able to make it a great experience for all of us. We all learned so much and had a really great time. She was prepared with pads so we could practice what we learned. We feel much more confident that we have some skills to defend ourselves in case we need to. I also loved that she came to us, so we didn't have to go anywhere.

Joao Crus' jiu-jitsu school is by far the best martial arts program/instruction that I've experienced. However, comparing Joaos program to other martial arts schools is doing his school a disservice. Of course jiu-jitsu offers a great form of self-defense and physical discipline. However, Joaos curriculum is so much more than a method of self-defense. He advocates and provides practical tools (through jiu-jitsu) to help his students develop essential life skills (problem solving, performing under pressure, taking responsibility for personal decisions to name a few). Both my son and I have been training with Joao for several years and look forward to many more years of training at his academy.

I started my weight loss journey with Jim in 2013. Turning 50 the same year and hardly exercising at all in the past, i didn't have my hopes too high. He showed me the proper form so i wouldn't hurt myself while paying close attention to my progress. He brought out in me, a person i had not seen in many years and i am very thankful for him. He helped me go from a size 12 to a 6/8 and my self esteem increased as well. Health wise, i was able to get off my acid refux meds and Triglyceride medicine. After taking a short break from his services, I came back to him again for additional sessions. He is very flexible, fitting into my timeframe as needed. Plus his rate is very affordable. He has impressed me so much with his knowledge in this field and his focus on his customers wellbeing. I have been doing Mike Massie Fighting Fit Boot Camp workouts for 7 months now. I got to say that I'm in the best shape of my life.
