- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each opportunity remains unique. To get acquainted, 1 hr to 11/2 hr window of time generally permits mutual satisfaction. If there is more time necessary, I take whatever time needed to cover what my client asks of me. A common objective does prevails in all events. I capture smiles. People share their moments and each smile I hope to preserve and they survive as heirlooms.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography was an emphasis while in highschool and even in college. Eric Weller taught classes from 1990-1994 while at Texas State University when the college was being called Southwest Texas State University. I've been enjoying the process from starting to find the perfect spot to finish since 1980. I began with my subject matter being that of my sister, at six months of age. I've been published multiple times. Knowing nature and how animals are also is a bonus. I am an Arabian horse trainer and like to feed the animals. Specifically, I remember to feed the seagulls when at the beach when using a timely sunrise to capture the perfect imagery. Feeding nature brings joy, for moments I get on film. The International Library of Photography has an image where I began my career with b&w traditional emulsion, using only FUJI film, a double-exposure of 6 month yr old child shot in 1980. I extend time teaching others how-to shoot their various types of digital cameras on-location. I charge clientele $50/hr and we usually go to a park.
