Introduction: THE EDUCATION. In 2011, I graduated from the Washington D.C. School of Photography. I was professionally trained there in composition, advanced studio lighting, outdoor portraiture, wedding photography, executive portraiture, printing, photoshop, and more. I understand what elements are needed to create the perfect shot. THE EXPERIENCE. In 2008, I began my career and advanced training in professional photography by doing an internship with Dramatic Imaging, a professional photography studio. Since then I have been shooting throughout the country and have been loving every minute. THE EQUIPMENT. I recognize that a good eye for photography can only get you so far, and thus have invested in the top equipment on the market. I respect my clients investment in my photography and ensure that they get what they pay for.

Ciera is the most amazing photographer! She gets all the right shots and makes sure you get every one you want. She will work with you on prices and is super personable. So fun and easy to work with! She had our pictures done before we could get home from our honeymoon! Everyone of them was beautiful! She can do no wrong...SHE ROCKS!

Ciera is a great photographer with great ideas. Her work is beautiful and she got to know our family in a personal way which shows in her work. She spent a lot of time with us on our son's wedding day. She listened to what we wanted and added her own wonderful touches. I would recommend her very highly for any occasion!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am taking classes and workshops to stay up on the latest trends and to be continually improving my skills.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish they would know how to tell what a good photographer looks like! If the work is blurry, out of focus, not crisp, overly photoshopped, barbie-doll fake, lighting isn't great, and overall not natural, I wouldn't want to waste my money. Its more worth it to invest your money in someone who knows what they are doing behind the camera; not someone who just has a fancy camera and is therefore a photographer.
