FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. Lawyers are required to complete a certain number of hours of continuing legal education per year. I started attending seminars before I finished law school. I continue to read and study the materials from these seminars and other courses during my free time. I take my profession very seriously, and I strive to keep myself current on the most recent updates and changes in the law as often as I can.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Some of the most common types of cases I provide representation for my clients are contested and uncontested divorces, child custody cases, child support cases, name changes, paternity suits, and adoptions.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am always proud when a client goes home happy. Recently, I spent several hours in a mediation with a client working out each and every detail of a court order that would address when and where he would be able to see his son, how much he would pay in child support, and how medical insurance would be provided for his child. Despite the many hours it took, he was very pleased with the bargaining done on my behalf as well as the outcome of the mediation.
