- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have an hourly rate, however some projects are estimated on a flat rate instead. Usually flat rates are given for painting jobs or larger projects so the customer knows exactly what they will pay-even if the technician runs into a problem and takes longer. Estimates are gladly given and ALWAYS free!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Not all Handymen are equal!! Anyone can advertise as a Handyman, but they may not be there when you have a problem and need them to return or warranty their work. Check a prospective company out on the internet-see how professional their website or ads are; and then contact them by phone and see if they answer or if you get voice mail.
