Introduction: I started my photography journey about seven years ago when my daughter was just 3 years old. I loved photographing her and her big brother on a daily basis using natural light. I was fortunate to have an awesome photographer friend who was willing to be my mentor. She helped me learn and grow. I then spent six years as a newborn photographer at Mother Frances Hospital which gave me extensive experience with newborns. I have always wanted my own studio and with all the available resources to learn online and encouragement from family and friends, I finally decided to expand and open my own studio. Tyler has been a lovely place to do outdoor photography and I enjoy it so much. In 2014 I won a photography contest from visit Tyler and had my photo (above) featured on the visit Tyler brochure in their Spring edition and a full spread in Tyler Today Magazine. This accomplishment encouraged me to continue learning and keep doing what I love most; preserving memories for years to come.
