Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Making a match between horse and rider sets me apart from other professional trainers. If I am selling a horse, I want the match to be as close to perfect as it can get because that will reflect on my integrity and market me as a trustworthy professional. I believe this will reflect in the growth of my business. The satisfaction I get when I see the smile on the horse owners face when I have done my job to the best of my ability. Without it I don't feel like I have done my job.

Glen Weeks sold me a horse last April. I asked him if the horse cribbed. He said "no". When I got the horse home I saw him crib on everything he could. Fence, wire, his feed bowl and if he couldn't find anything he would "suck wind". I was devasted as I paid 7500 for this horse. He had told me if I wasn't satified he would make it right. I had another horse he offered me vet checked and Glen said the horse was registered and had medical papers. He also said he would pay me $1000 since this horse wasn't a show horse as the other was. I have begged him for the money and papers and he has not given me anything. Please be very cautious buying from this man.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My main objective when training a horse for a client is to bring that horse and rider together. I want them to be comfortable with each other and work as a team. that is the foremost important job I do for my clients. I also provide opportunities for the client and their horse to experience trail rides, parades, and shows. These events allow the horse and ridder to become better connected with the opportunity to have questions answered as we go. As I teach clients, They teach me. I owe it to my clients to learn from them as well because being a trainer is not a one size fits all approach.
