- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As often as I can! I try new products when they come out and network with other groomers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first job was as a vet tech. I had always been comfortable with clippers and I made friends with the groomer the four years I was there. I knew that's what career I wanted! I found a great groomer to mentor me and the rest is history.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A young standard poodle with sensitive skin that went to the vet after every groom before she found me! With lots of communication, she has had three grooms with me and no vet visits!
