As a doctor and professional life coach I have coached hundreds of clients since 2015 in my own private practice though I only recently joined Thumbtack. Many of my current reviews come from my teen coaching practice but I have a decade of experience coaching adults in career, weight loss, relationships, positive habits and more.
I believe in coaching because I myself used life coaches since I was 16 years old - it was the best education I ever received. My college and medical school degrees didn't teach me how to "Play the Game" of life - how to get promotions, how to manage my emotions.
I would say my life coaches are a huge part of why in my 40's I enjoy the financial freedom to pursue my passion projects, live life on my own terms, and enjoy my 20+ year marriage and 2 beautiful children. Because of life coaching I I never hesitated to ask for someone for a raise, a chance, or a date. Along the way I conquered fears and doubts through sheer practice - discovering that "the worst that can happen" really isn't all that bad. I learned so much from my life coaches that cannot be taught in books or classrooms and I want to share that knowledge. Emotional intelligence, critical conversations, going the critical inch, getting to "yes", discovering your "why", facing your fears and using even your weaknesses to your advantage are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the tools and strategies that I first learned from the best in the industry and now teach all over the country. I have met incredibly interesting people, every day is an adventure, and I truly love what I do. I believe that we should enjoy life to its last drop even as we go through all the day to day challenges and mundane worries.
My office is in Webster, TX (the Clear Lake part of Houston, TX) and clients can come to see me in the office or visit with me virtually online. I do accept HSA/FSA cards as a method of payment.
