Luis and team performed a phenomenal service, with respect to their painting and handyman efforts in our home. Luis custom-painted our kids' rooms, installed crown molding in our formal areas, and secured a large mirror on top of our fireplace. All tasks were performed flawlessly and professionally. Luis' crew was friendly and professional. We have some more painting jobs coming up and I will be using Luis again. You won't be disappointed with Luis.

Luis and his crew were fast, efficient, professional with my remodeling job. Luis offered excellent ideas when I wanted extra input on certain aspects and did not try to up sell to increase my costs. When a plumber and electrician needed to be called in, his contacts here were likewise reasonable and professional. I would not hesitate to call on Luis again and in fact plan to do so in the next phase of my remodeling.

I HAD GOTTEN A VIOLATION FROM THE CITY REGARDING SOME EXTERIOR PAINTING THAT WE NEEDED TO GET DONE. LUIS GAVE ME THE BEST PRICE OUT OF ALL THE QUOTES (ABOUT 500-700 LOWER). MY HUSBAND MET WITH LUIS AND HIRED HIM AND MY HUSBAND WAS ONLY ABLE TO DO THAT BECAUSE LUIS DID COME OUT ON A SATURDAY TO SPEAK WITH US AND GIVE US A QUOTE. WE PAID THE DOWN PAYMENT AND MY HUSBAND SIGNED THE CONTRACT ON A TABLET WHICH I WAS UNHAPPY ABOUT BECAUSE HE WAS NOT ABLE TO READ THE ENTIRE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING AND I LATER NOTICED THAT THE CONTRACT STATED THAT THE AGREED PRICE COULD INCREASE WITH OUT US AGREEING TO IT IN WRITTING. LUIS DID NOT CHARGE ANY EXTRA CHARGES TO OUR AGREED AMOUNT AND SENT WORKERS OUT WITH IN THE FOLLOWING WEEK WHICH WAS WONDERFUL AS I HAD TO HAVE THE WORK COMPLETED BY JULY 15TH. THE WORKERS WERE VERY NICE AND POLITE AND THEY WORKED REALLY HARD TO DO ALL THE WORK THAT WAS NEEDED TO GET THE HOUSE READY TO PAINT IN REALLY HIGH OUTSIDE TEMPS. THE EXPERIANCE WAS WONDERFUL AND THE WORK THAT WAS DONE CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL. THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT GIVE A FULL FIVE STARS IS BECAUSE WHEN THE WORKERS WERE DONE FOR THE DAY THEY WOULD LEAVE TRASH, PAINT CHIPS AND EVERYTHING ELSE OUT LYING AROUND OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE WHERE EVER THEY WOULD WORK. WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETED THEY SIMPLY THREW HALF OF THEIR TRASH IN A TRASHBAG IN MY BACK YARD AND ANOTHER TRASH BIN ON THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE, TOOLS AND EXTRA PAINT IN MY BACK YARD WHERE MY PUPPY COULD GET INTO IT. I THINK THEY DID THIS BECAUSE WE HAD COMPLAINED ABOUT THE MESS TO LUIS AFTER THE FIRST DAY SO THEY WOULD PICK UP AFTER THAT (WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN UNTIL THE) LAST DAY. ON THE LAST DAY WE LET LUIS KNOW OF THE MESS AND HE OFFERED TO SEND THEM BACK OUT TO CLEAN IT UP HOWEVER WE TOLD HIM NOT TO BOTHER WITH THAT WE WOULD PICK IT UP SINCE WE KNEW HOW DIFFICULT THE WORK WAS AND HAPPY IT WAS COMPLETED. THAT IS WHEN LUIS HAD ASKED FOR THE REMAINING AMOUNT FOR THE JOB. SINCE THE CONTRACT STATED THAT WE HAD 10 DAYS TO PAY THE BALANCE ACCORDING TO THE CONTRACT I HAD PLANNED ON PAYING AFTER THAT WEEKEND BECAUSE WE HAD A VERY BUSY WEEKEND WITH MY HUSBAND AND MY BIRTHDAYS. MY HUSBAND SPOKE WITH LUIS AND PROMISED PAYMENT EVERYDAY THAT WEEKEND HOWEVER I COULD NOT PAY HIM UNTIL TUE OF THAT FOLLOWING WEEK. LUIS KEPT CALLING OUR HOUSE LEAVING MESSAGES ABOUT THE BALANCE AND I SPOKE WITH HIM THAT EVENING AND TOLD HIM ON THE PHONE I WOULD PAY LATER THAT NIGHT ONCE I LAYED MY KIDS DOWN FOR BED HOWEVER HE WANTED ME TO STOP WHAT I WAS DOING RIGHT THEN AND PAY. HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT HE UNDERBID THE JOB AND THAT HE WAS IN THE HOLE BECAUSE HE HAD TO PAY HIS WORKERS FOR THE JOB AND THAT HE DID ME A FAVOR BY GETTING THE JOB DONE IN THE TIME FRAME THAT WAS NEEDED BY THE CITY AND HE TOLD A THUMBTACK REP ABOUT THE FINAL PAYMENT "ISSUES" AFTER I HAD TOLD HIM I WOULD PAY HIM THAT NIGHT BUT BEFORE THE TIME I TOLD HIM I WOULD PAY HIM. TO ME THAT IS VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL AND SIMPLY RUDE. IF YOU DON'T MIND CLEANING UP AFTER THE WORKERS AND PREPAIRED TO PAY HIM THE DAY THE JOB IS DONE THEN I WOULD SUGGEST HIRING HIM HOWEVER BE AWARE OF HIS WORKERS AND HIS PROFESSIONALISIM BECAUSAE I WOULD HAVE GONE WITH THE MORE EXPENSIVE CONTRACTOR TO GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TREATMENT EXPECIALLY WHEN IT INVOLVES THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.

I am very professional and attentive to all of my customers' needs. This project was in Irving which is out of my service area. I stopped by on my way to visit a relative and agreed to get it done since they were in a tough situation with the city. It is by far the worst exterior I've ever done. Go figure why the city was making them paint it or they were going to be fined. I knew some painters in the area that needed work so I got them to do the the job since they were closer and could take their time since the project took seven days. They pressure washed the entire house which was all covered with wood. The flaking and peeling paint came off. We thoroughly primed, caulked, and painted everything. I originally priced it at 4,000. The husband offered me 2,000 and I said no way. We met in the middle at 3,000 and I knew what I was getting into. We didn't cut any corners and did an excellent job from start to finish. I became concerned when I wasn't getting a response or a call back when I tried to collect the 1,500 which was the balance of the job since I collect half up front and half when finished. I felt like I was getting the runaround since all I would read was "you'll get your money" but not a determined time and date. When the job was complete I spoke to the husband on the phone and he said everything was perfect but after my guys left he wouldn't answer my calls or texts. As a business owner, it is my obligation to collect payments. They were simply upset because I got Thumbtack involved. My work was completed meeting their deadline with superior craftsmanship just as we agreed.
