After decades working for the “BIG guys” this father and son started their own excavation company. I am so thankful I contacted them. Dean immediately called me and scheduled a time to check out our project and then *gasp* he actually showed up. It is rare you can get people with so much experience to come bid a residential job (almost as rare as said people being so genuinely nice). We needed our large back yard properly graded after digging out over 10 tons of rock and break out gravel gifted to us during the building of our home before they back filled our lot. We also needed the side of our house graded and scraped for a fractured stone “driveway” we were doing as part of our xeriscaping plans.
We felt like it was a job for a true professional, not a landscaper (or my Bobcat loving husband) that isn’t licensed for that type of work. We also needed all the rock for the driveway (30 tons) put into place, so it would be ready for the plate compactor. Al did such a great job leveling it out we may not compact it.
I really appreciated the fact they went out of their way to fit us into their busy schedule so we could move ahead on our DIY yard. I should mention that I saw photos of jobs they were called in to “fix” and do right after unqualified people got in over their heads and abandoned the job site.
