- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each client is assessed individually. There are many factors that complicate the process in dealing with the IRS depending on the service to be provided. Income and Types of Income, Financial Assets, Complexity of Tax Returns, Amount Owed to the IRS all play a part in determining the complexity and duration of the solution.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am in a constant state of learning and improving my work and knowledge. As an enrolled agent we are required to complete 72 hours of continuing education in order to maintain our status. On top of that I spend 30 Min every day reading literature on the tax resolution industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My brother began his own tax resolution business in Arizona after 10 years working for other firms. I began just doing his secretary work and then just began to get a feel for the business and feel the rewarding nature of resolving tax issues.
