FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer one simple fair price for our services and won’t charge extra. This saves you thousands of dollars! Consider upgrades like uplighting ($300), cold spark machines ($750), premium lighting ($300), extra hours ($200), ceremony sound ($250), for example, and on and on when you look at other DJ’s pricing. How is it possible that we can include all our upgrades at one amazing low price? We also make money from YouTube, and we rent our huge inventory to other DJ’s so we are able to buy lots of gear and not pay rental fees. This is especially important for weddings where so many details need to be worked out and expenses can quickly exceed budgets. Recently we quoted one low price to a bride’s mom for an outdoor wedding dance party, but as we learned more from the bride on what she really wanted, we added a dress rehearsal, ceremony, indoor dinner music, indoor reception music, and outdoor reception music. No one had to pay extra and we were happy to help produce a beautiful event, even though it meant we set up much more equipment and spent many more hours at the event than originally planned. Sometimes customers will ask about just about anything and find out it is included in your package at no extra cost, you just have to ask for it! One example is a projector. The venue would have charged $75 extra, so we set up our projector for free!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will quote one package price, and then we will schedule a consultation to work out the details of your event. This is probably different than other competitors who may need to understand all your requirements so they can develop a complex quote, add upgrade pricing, figure out their cut, and perhaps locate a DJ that they shop out or outsource for your event as many competitors book multiple events on the same day. For us to maintain our high standards we do not outsource your event to other DJ’s. We will come to your event van loaded with every kind of equipment imaginable ready for any situation. We also make preparations with the venue and while we have been to just about every venue in Utah, we may visit yours if we are unfamiliar with it to ensure that we have the proper equipment and site readiness planned.
