Introduction
I started cooking very young and quickly cultivated a love for everything culinary. I started working in professional kitchens at 17 and spent the next ten years being trained by several excellent chef's, most notably Wolfgang Puck. After coming home to Utah I started working as a private Chef, working to help create special events and amazing memories for groups in a more intimate setting. I am passionate about food and about hospitality services.

James is an unbelievable talent. We recently had the privilege of having a 6 course dinner with a number of the dishes inspired by recipes of Thomas Keller. James nailed it. I've been fortunate enough to experience numerous Michelin rated restaurants and multi course tasting menus...but to have that done in your own home was something else. It was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life...easily top ten. In some further back experiences with James cooking, on simpler fair from pies to sandwiches, and a clam chowder in the mix...his cooking is consistently some of the best I have experienced. My wife and I cannot recommend James enough. 5 stars all the way!!

I’ve know James for around 20 years. I’ve had the great privilege of being served several over-the-top delicious gourmet meals prepared by James. There are an overwhelming number of self-proclaimed ‘chefs’ out there, and so many are good. But James’ culinary creations rise well above the great majority of those. It isn’t everyday that your restaurant owner & boss Wolfgang Puck takes notice of you and you get that caliber of restaurant experience under your belt. Everything, and I mean everything, from your favorite comfort foods, to gourmet dishes prepared by James has been an experience I will never forget.

One of the best food experiences in our life. He made our anniversary celebration something we will never forget. James is top notch. He is professional and truly has a gift. I believe that gift shines due to his passion for what he does and getting to share it with others. There’s no doubt we will be hiring James again.

I have hired many chefs but James was the best. His food is not only the most fantastic I have ever had from a home chef, but he will either work with your ideas for a menu or come up with the most fabulous menu himself. He is down to earth and extremely easy to work with and is the best value as well. WE did a 5 course menu and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Trust me you will not go wrong with chef James.
