Introduction: Love. Passion. Inspiration. Music, specifically piano is my language of choice and favorite means of expression and communication. To share this gift with others through teaching has been my life's work for 30 plus years!
The student who comes to the Yvette Zobell Piano Studio will find a dedicated piano teacher whose mission is to help each person develop their own voice of expression, to become a life long, independent learner and appreciator of music.
Through private instruction, individually crafted lesson, group classes, and technology-forward lab times, students will learn to play music that speaks to them.
Reading, theory, writing, listening, improvisation, technique and creativity are all part of playing the piano and your lessons will be carefully crafted to suit your learning style and interests.
Yvette has over 30 years of experience including teaching, performing and accompanying. With a BS Degree in Music from Utah State University, and as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) Yvette is prepared to offer you the skills to help you develop a love for the piano.

Lessons had a good mix of music theory and of course practical piano technique. Yvette is particularly attentive to interpretation and quality of sound. She’s very approachable and comfortable to work with.

Not only did she teach great piano lessons but she pushed both of my children to go beyond what they were capable of. It installed such self esteem in both my children. My daughter grew in confidence and she would encourage her to perform in different venues. She also encouraged my son to pursue his gift for writing piano songs. She is an excellent piano teacher in so many ways.
