Nothing like losing heat on a holiday! Not a problem for Dimitri, who made it to my home within just a couple of hours of putting in a service request on New Years Day. My 1st experience with CMB Hvac was Great! A few days prior to the repair, we noticed a gas smell in our basement. Called Enbridge & they sent someone to inspect immediately. They found that the fuel control valve on the furnace was staying open & leaking gas. They shut the gas off at the furnace. I called "ab*c" company ( to remain nameless ) & the tech showed up an hour later than the time window I was given. Confirmed what the gas company had already told me & said that he couldn't get the part until Monday (this was a Saturday that he was at our home) because his part store wasn't opened. So for this day he would just collect the service fee of $99 ... would have been nice to know there was a service fee!! So he basically charged me $99 to tell me what I already knew! Monday morning I received an email from "ab*c" co with a RIDICULOUS quote for the repair. I reached out to CMB & told them what was wrong with the furnace. They got me on the schedule same day, between 4-6pm - which worked perfect for my work schedule. Their tech Channing called me promptly at 4 pm, confirmed that the leak had already been diagnosed twice. He said if I could send him pictures of the model # and ser # on the furnace, he could give me an accurate quote over the phone. So I did that and he was quick to respond with a very fair quote !! He said he would run & grab the part & get back to me with an arrival eta as soon as part was in hand. 20 minutes later he messaged me with part in hand and said he was 15 minutes away. He was Great!! He got the repair done promptly & efficiently. He went above & beyond by doing a few extra courtesy operations to ensure the furnace was running well & safely !! Super impressed by Channing and the whole CMB experience - I will be a repeat customer if ever needed -

So our A/C completely stopped cooling, and of course it had to happen over the weekend. I figured I’d be stuck waiting until Monday, but I called these guys and John actually came out right away. He looked at my system explained what was going on, made a quick adjustment to my thermostat to help keep the upstairs cooler (which honestly worked way better than I expected), and then ran a bunch of tests just to make sure nothing else was broken before he left. Super glad I called them. John really knew what he was doing and took the time to make sure everything was working right. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely call them again.
