I have 3 years experience taking pilates in a large class setting at the U. Working with Rachel one-on-one has made a huge difference in identifying problem areas that were missed because I was in a large class setting. Working with her is easy and natural. She uses analogies that resonate with me, and when they don't, she finds a different way to explain what she means. I appreciate Rachel's hands-on instruction when she assists my body, for example when I am not mindful of keeping my abs engaged or I should relax my shoulders.
Sessions are driven by my suggestion or Rachel will have exercises she wants me to perform. Even when I request to focus on a problem area, sessions are structured and fluid.
I plan to continue working with Rachel as I am grateful of all the progress I have made with her help!
