- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not complicated, but I do bid based on the job. I come out and survey the project for free and give a bid based on the work involved. Each job can have different components so I don't feel blanket pricing is fair for jobs that don't require the same amount of work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am required to continue my education every year to remain certified.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Deduction reasoning. I liked working with my hands so I decided trade work. I didn't want to be an electrician and get electrocuted, I didn't want to do concrete and ruin my back and knees, and I framing is a lot of heavy lifting. Since I didn't know any plumbers, this seemed like the most reasonable choices after all things considered. I didn't realize that I would love it.
