FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $50 per hour plus the cost of materials. This includes up to one hour of one-way travel time. I also offer discounted rates for repeat clients, and referrals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I prefer to meet on-site to walk through the project together and assess what’s needed to complete the job. This allows me to provide a clear, accurate estimate/invoice and ensures we’re aligned on expectations from the start.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received two years of hands-on training as a full-time employee with a small business, which gave me the opportunity to learn and apply skills in electrical work that I may not have gained in a larger company. During that time, I also served as a foreman on several projects. In addition, I completed the necessary college coursework in residential electrical systems.
