- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For Individuals, our fee schedule is based on income as follows: Under 125% of federal poverty guidelines: $50.00/hour ($30,312 and under for a family of 4). Between 125% and 200% of federal poverty guidelines: $70.00/hour ($30,313-$48,500 for a family of 4). Between 200% and 250% of federal poverty guidelines: $85.00/hour ($48,501-$60,625 for a family of 4) Between 250% and 300% of federal poverty guidelines: $95.00/hour ($60,626-$72,750 for a family of 4) Between 300% and 350% of federal poverty guidelines: $110.00/hour ($72,750-$84,875 for a family of 4) Between 350% and 400% of federal poverty guidelines: $125.00/hour ($84,876-$97,000 for a family of 4) Above 400% of the federal poverty guidelines: $150.00/hour ($97,001 and above for a family of 4) All numbers are for the 2015 federal poverty guidelines. Income is determined by your Adjusted Gross Income reported on line 37 of IRS Form 1040. For Nonprofit Organizations, our fee schedule is as follows: Organizations with revenues equal to or under $150,000 per year: $95.00/hour Organizations with revenues between $150,000 and $500,000 per year: $125.00/hour Organizations with revenues above $500,000 per year: $175.00/hour Flat Fee arrangements are available for both Individuals and Nonprofit Organizations, depending on the nature of the project. Generally speaking, Nonprofit Legal Services of Utah requires clients to pay a retainer equal to 5 hours of work or 25% of the flat fee agreement at the time the engagement begins.
