Introduction: As CEO of GO, Mr. Jose Gutierrez brings 15 years of leadership, management, and government acquisition experience to GO. Mr. Gutierrez obtained his experience through his service as a contracting officer in the military and serving multiple tours overseas as a contractor. Mr. Gutierrez recently spent a year in Afghanistan managing the forward operating bases in the Western Region of Afghanistan, supervising the management of the administration of contracts and preparation of proposals. While in Afghanistan, Mr. Gutierrez led a diverse team of managers and contract specialists to ensure that warfighter/customer requirements exceeded expectations. Mr. Gutierrez's extensive background also includes a tour in Iraq as a consultant/advisor to the Iraq Ministries, Providences, Department of State, and Department of Defense personnel with Grant Thornton Consulting. As a manager and consultant with Grant Thornton, he managed the daily logistics operations on a $50-million contract with Task Force to improve business and stability operations in Iraq. Mr. Gutierrez's wide range of experience and achievements provides our clients with the knowledge needed to achieve the desired results. His direct involvement with project planning and management of various contract projects has proven to deliver successful results.
