About

I am Mariane Glover! I teach out of my home studio. I have a recording booth in my studio so the student can have opportunities to record what they are working on. We also practice performing techniques. I have been singing for 15 years in choirs, musicals, and college with many starring roles and solos. I have been teaching voice lessons for 7 years. I had assisted in Directing shows and choirs Prior to becoming a vocal coach. I have been trained in Pop, Broadway, R&B, Classical styles.I studied Commercial music at UVU. I focus on helping my students find their voice using correct techniques. Helping each student know their value and power by using their voice in a healthy way is very important to me. I love what I do and I am very passionate about it. I love to see my students grow in confidence when they share their voices. I am also here to assist if you need help with auditions!

Mariane is a great teacher. I’ve improved a lot with her and gained a lot of confidence in singing. She always makes you feel comfortable. I’ve never felt awkward in a lesson with her because she’s very kind and makes her area feel safe. I used to be really scared of singing, but since I’ve been taking lessons with her I’ve really come out of my shell. The lessons have helped me improve and are fun. Mariane is a really nice, fun, and overall great teacher.

Mariane is such a great vocal coach. My 3 children take lessons from her. They have not only developed their vocal skills, but have also developed great self-confidence. They always come home from their lessons smiling, telling me how much fun they’ve had.

I have had both of my kids singing with Maryanne for the last year. My kids love her and love going. She’s the only class they don’t complain about going too. She’s very good to communicate with me and figure out scheduling and help support and teach the kids. She has helped my little girl get over her stage fright and singing in front of groups. She is teaching them skills beyond just the singing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I feel my pricing is a very fair for what I offer. My rates vary depending on how much time your lesson is. I offer a referral discount if you refer someone and they sign up. There is a $30 recital fee for participation in the May and December recitals.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my students ask and what music they like and what they are passionate about. I understand everyone learns different and I like to understand how that student learns to help them better.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained in speech level singing, pop Broadway and classical singing. I started taking voice lessons when I was 12 years old. I have been in many choirs. I studied media music at UVU. And I continuously take vocal instructor courses and attend teaching conferences to stay on top of the newest techniques
