I'm a photographer specializing in portraiture, documentary, event photography, and videography production and editing. I love working with people to tell a story-- both on location and in studio, or just at home at the editing table. I shoot in a journalistic style as this allows me to document real emotions and organic moments and capture an essence of spontaneity— capturing a narrative filled with life and vibrance. With a degree in photography and anthropology, photography and people are my two biggest passions! I enjoy learning about people and helping capture their stories through photography. Whether it’s through a short documentary film or a day-long-event, I am excited to document your story through my portraiture and photojournalistic documentary photography. I also provide video editing and photography editing services.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically discuss the session with a new customer and email them with the full session details. If working on a wedding, I prefer to meet in person with the couple at least once before the wedding day if they are not booking me for engagements. I am happy to communicate through email, text, or phone calls. :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
MA in Visual Anthropology, BFA in Photography
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I studied photography in college, and started off taking photos for friends before realizing it was something I wanted to grow into a business. Creating beautiful imagery that tells a story is really exciting and brings me a lot of fulfillment.
