- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you need to cancel a lesson, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the first lesson, I will have you warm up your voice and do a series of vocal exercises. I will assess your voice and teach you the foundation of good vocal technique. I will first teach you the appoggio technique of breathing. I will then discuss phonation and resonance in singing. I will give you goals and specific exercises and songs that will help you achieve your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music and doctorate degree from Indiana University, both in vocal performance. I have sung over 500 performances of opera in opera houses in America and Europe.
