During my time with dogs, I have sought countless hours of shadowing dog training for top professionals in the industry. It has proven in the obedience of the dogs over and over again with multiple dogs of different sizes, breeds, energy level, and education level. We prepare your puppy with daily training exercises which include: neural stimulation, socialization, basic obedience commands, house training, and most of all, tender love and care. We have all choices of services to choose which is best for you and yours dogs needs including training, exercise, boarding, and dog day care. For our boarding dogs, we make 3 pickup stops to SLC county and Utah county area for dogs For boot camp dogs, we will come pick them up directly from your home. I am an active dog competitor who love training and spending time with our dogs. I actively train and compete in different dog sports and activities. I help many people create a stronger bond through obedience training and the reward-based system. It is a passion of mine to see the improvement in a relationship between the dog and their human. I am continuously keeping dog education and skills up to date by attending seminars, training clubs, competitions, and our daily training with our customers! There is no better way to be the best than to continue with education and training through helping our customers with their dogs’ daily problems.

Wow! Hands down the best trainer I’ve gone to!! I have a very stubborn and REALLY strong German Shepherd mix. I’ve gone to several trainers and their way would only work for a day. After 2 sessions, my dog is super well behaved AND is completely in love with Winston. It’s really hard to find a trainer that’s able to handle a dog like mine. I just had the easiest walk with Kaiser of my entire time having him. He’s still just as happy go lucky, but isn’t dragging me down the street. Winston seems to really understand dogs and trains them in a way that they innately recognize and remember.

Winston really knows and understands dogs. I like his approach to training- it’s not based on discipline, but rather correcting a undesired behavior. He helps the dogs to learn and understand what he’s communicating to them with time and patience. He doesn’t reward with treats but engages the dog to want to do a good job for you. (Never boarded with them but did training at my home.)

I had Winston and his team train our dog to be a service dog. We have had him for 4 years now and what a difference it has made in our daughters life. Working with Them was seemless, they are passionate and knowledgeable about their training. They are kind, helpful and amazing to work with. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I do my best to assess their needs in a free consultation, ensure that I am the right choice for their family and their dog, and help them select the right program to get the results they want. The client is able to get to know me through this process, and I am able to learn more about their specific situation and their dog's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 5 years of professional experience training dogs. I have worked with hundreds of different dogs, owners from all backgrounds and situations, and just about every breed, size, and temperament of dog.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2010, I started researching dogs and soon found my best friend Pepper. Pepper is a mix black Lab and Golden retriever. Ever since the day I picked her up I have been learning the art of dog training. As the process furthered, I soon began to get noticed for the impeccable obedience and talent Pepper had. Due to this, I very quickly was constantly surrounded by 3-4 dogs of friends, family and neighbors who all wanted me to train their dogs to be like Pepper. Out of my love for the animals I started taking them on long hikes in the mountains every day and training as I did so. My work with those dogs was so successful that soon more friends of friends would bring their dogs to me and ask me to train their dogs to be like these others. This all snowballed into something that was taking all my time. I decided to switch this to my full time job in order to most effectively fulfill all the needs of my clients and training of their dogs. Since this time I have sought countless hours of dog training for top professionals in the industry. I have proven my skills over and over again with multiple dogs of different sizes, breeds, energy level, and education level. With every new dog brings a new experience and I guarantee my work to be satisfying for all my clients.
