AJ identified the problems, was straight-forward about what was and wasn't needed, delivered a quote within minutes after meeting and scheduled the job within a week. I felt confident throughout the process that he knew what he was doing and would deliver. The sub-contractor he sent to do the work was also great.

Being that my house is an older model built mid 70’s, I had electrical issues that required a license electrician after calling Rocky Mountain Power. Utah temperature in JULY is currently above normal and definitely requires air conditioning of some type! My electrical problem was the exterior outer main breaker attached to the Power Meter tripping, prior to the internal breaker box. RMP responsibility is the power line and the Power Meter assembly ONLY! Anything PAST that are the home-owners! I posted a request at HomeAdvisor that I’ve used in the past with great response, but with this urgent time didn’t even get a response in a timely manner. I tried the Thumbtack application and did get some quick response from “Pro’s” that were currently on line and responded unavailable, with a “Pro” that stayed online and didn’t respond at all! DW Utah LLC. Premium Electrical Services was on line and responded in a timely manner within the hour. Spoke with Derrick and he had an electrician tech that completed his current job and sent Jake to my resident. Jake arrived within the hour and evaluated my situation. Other Pro’s finally contacted me prior to Jake arriving and informed me that they could not send any techs at all until a couple of days or more and if the issue was an emergency, will charge +$90 just for an evaluation! DW charged $55 but waived when the home owner assisted during the job and gave me an affordable solid quote. Other Pro’s stated a bottom line “price” to replace a power box, but didn’t give any pricing for any “additional” unexpected parts or issues requiring completing a job. The following mid-morning, Jake and Sam arrived and started their work with all the required parts. Derrick arrived later and accomplished the required paperwork on permits and all the city politics requiring installation of a residential power box. Work was done in a few hours and They DID an Excellent Job! I personally recommend DW Utah LLC for any electrical issues that homeowners have and professionally WILL get the job done in a timely manner! My house can now tackle the heat what Mother Nature has in store for the remaining summer!!

These guys were fantastic. They updated some outlets and did some work in the house for some home inspection items that the buyer wanted done. They were communicative through the whole process.

Within minutes of posting for my need to get an electrician, Derek from DW responded to my request. We messaged back and forth a few times so he could get a better understanding of my needs and ultimately we set up an appointment for him to come look at my situation and give me an estimate. We had to reschedule due to my daughter getting the flu and it was no problem at all. Derek came and looked at my situation, answered all of my questions and we agreed for him to come out the following week to install a new sub panel for a very reasonable price. On install day he was running a few minutes late, but called me in advance to let me know, which I appreciate. I asked if it was alright if I could observe him work to learn a thing or two from him and he was fine with that. (Realistically I probably slowed him down a bit due to all the conversation we were having, but he didn't seem to mind.) He finished installing the sub panel and moved one of the circuits over for me which he didn't have to do. His attention to detail and cleanliness was bar none. I had to convince him not to worry about the sawdust mess he had to make for the install and that I would get it later as I'm doing work on my basement anyway. The day after the install I reached out to him with an electrical question and he was happy to answer that for me as well. In summary, I'm very satisfied with the service Derek and DW Utah provided for me. They go above and beyond to ensure you're happy with their service. I will call them again and definitely recommend them to friends and family.
