- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always strive to deliver the most value for the lowest price. I do this by consulting with clients to understand their specific tax situation to provide a single price quote that doesn't change by the hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally prefer having a free consultation with the client so that I can understand their specific goals and also to let the client get to know me and who I am. After the consultation, the preparation stage will begin. I will generally ask for any relevant documents needed to file your return. Once you have submitted the documents, I prepare the return. Once completed, we will review the return and answer any question that you may have. At this point I will ask for payment for the service provided. Once I have received payment I will efile the returns (where possible) or provided the final return for mailing. If you are extremely satisfied with the service, this is when I would ask you to leave feedback on my Thumbtack profile so that others can know!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both a bachelors and masters degree in accounting from the University of Utah. I also am a licensed CPA in the State of Utah.
