- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am working on building my photography portfolio. Although I am an expert in some areas, I am newer to others. My first few photo shoots booked I will give a 10% discount. Also, you'll realize I have lowered my prices in all categories, this is to build a book of business and gain some traction. Upon booking, a 25% down payment is needed to secure the shoot. The rest is paid after the shoot. Looking forward to working with you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1) Customer may contact me on thumbtack, instagram, email, or phone number. Step 2) Small information finding session to asses the customers needs. Step 3) Organize and schedule a shoot. Location, time, pricing, etc. 25% down payment taken. More notes and ideas are exchanged for expectations and photo styles. Step 4) Photo shoot. Rest of payment will be taken at the end of shoot. Step 5) Edit the photos. Step 6) You can get your photos via online link. Step 7) If you need prints, they can be arranged for the photos you like for an additional small fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have plenty of experience in Product, Marketing, Commercial, Wildlife, Travel, and Nature photography. I have had quite a few pictures published as well on websites and most recently in Lonely Planet Magazine. I am working on building my portfolio and getting more experience in other areas such as Pet, Family, Couple, and Portrait photography.
