I recently hired Gary to replace the carpet in my home with luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I hired Gary via Thumbtack to install continuous LVP throughout my first floor (about 850 sq ft). I have an older house in salt lake city so every room had different materials, different heights, and unknown surprises. As an experienced DIYer, I can be particular about details and finish, Gary worked with me to narrow in on my requests, and always confirmed about how they should finish a certain area. He was also direct and transparent when we had an issue or challenge. The finished job looks amazing. Very happy with the work. I have noticed a few minor areas where there is a small amount of movement (uneven), but frankly, I understand my house was a considerable challenge and it would be nearly impossible to level perfectly. I would recommend Gary for any flooring work moving forward. Ask him about motorcycles :).

Gary did great work for us! He was very punctual for both the initial look/bid and when we scheduled the actual work to replaced several damaged EVP boards. He saw the opportunity to maintain the integrity of the floor by essentially uninstalling part of the floor in order to replace the boards, then reinstalling it, rather than cutting the damaged boards out. This likely added years to the floor longevity, and we really appreciate the thought put into this. Our floor is good as new now, like nothing happened. We'll definitely hire Gary again to take care of our floors in the future!

We worked with Gary for our hardwood flooring project last year, and he was honestly the best contractor we have ever worked with. We installed white oak engineered hardwood flooring, and his expertise truly showed in every detail of the job. He clearly knows exactly what he is doing and takes great pride in his work. Gary is the most punctual and professional person you could ask for—he showed up every single day right at 8:00 a.m. on the dot. His work was incredibly clean and organized, and he made sure all debris was completely removed at the end of the project, which we truly appreciated. I feel bad that I couldn’t write this review sooner since we were in the middle of several other home renovations, but his work absolutely deserves recognition. If you are looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional hardwood flooring contractor, I highly recommend Gary without hesitation.
