They were in my home for 5 minutes. Didn't even take measurements or give any ideas in terms of design or vision. They could not have been less interested in the job. 2 other contractors came and spent 45-60 minutes walking through options and ideas. I hired 1 of them.
SafeHome Utah PRO Remodeling LLC's reply
Hi Charity, we are sad to see your review. We were actually in your home for 22 minutes from our app tracking, and we did take measurements with lidar on our phones. We don’t typically have to pull physical measurements for estimates as our lidar is very accurate for estimate purposes. We told you we would send you an estimate and we did discuss plenty of ideas in terms of moving the walls and entry ways with you. I’m just really surprised you felt this way. You had mentioned a budget of about $50k to do the project and i had also said that we unfortunately could not get close to that price. Again, we are sorry you felt this way. We work very hard to ensure all of our clients and potential clients are always taken care of. Good luck with your remodel project.

Matt, Kelly, Juan, and crew completely finished about 2200 square feet in my basement. Their price was fair and the work was done well. There are hiccups in any project of that magnitude but they always endeavored to make sure we were happy with the finished product/things were resolved in our favor. Not all contractors work that way. I like that they do almost all of the work themselves so I knew who was there and there werent a ton of people in and out of the house over the course of the project. Good group of people, quality work. We love the extra space (kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and huge family room)that we can actually use now and isnt just storage. Would definitely call them for any construction projects/remodeling I do in the future.

When talking to most people they will tell you a kitchen remodel is a nightmare. They must not of hired Safe Home Utah. The crew with Safe Home was amazing! Extremely polite and caring about our project. They do amazing work. I love each and every part of our new kitchen. It turned out better then I could of imagined. Everyone that sees the new kitchen loves it as much as we do. They educated us along the way to give us all the options to make the area perfect. We highly recommend using Safe Home Utah for any remodeling needs. We will be using them again for future projects at our home.

Kelly, Matt, and their team completed a major kitchen remodel for us when no one else was willing to. Our home has an unusual layout, and they were able to maximize and update our space beautifully. They were very fast and had great attention to detail. They were also very attentive and responded to all of my questions and concerns. I would love if they would work with us on future projects.

We hired Safe Home Utah to remove a big deck, pour a new concrete patio, install patio stairs and install 2 egress windows. They were great to work with. They are great communicators. They always came, on time and they were there, when they said they'd be there. They worked with us to help design a beautiful patio and stairs. They told us what to expect when cutting out our existing windows and waiting for the egress to be installed.I've recommended them to many friends, family and neighbors. The photos attached are right after they finished and one year later.
FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very clear to all of our clients. We are very straightforward in our estimates and contracts. We give you a set budget for each particular item so that clients can stay within their original scope of pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project requires an individual approach. Typically we advise clients to work with a contractor who employs a “pay as you go” approach to a project. We always require an initial deposit of $2500.00 before project commencement and then have a payment schedule based on payments being received usually every 1-2 weeks as the work is completed. Payment terms are always adjusted to the scope of each project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve had the most on the job training since doing construction from the age of 10. I’ve studied a lot of resources and have completed schooling for accounting so that I can ensure the scope of the financial aspect of projects is successful just as much as the completion of the work. The state of Utah also requires us to maintain our license with educational courses every two years as well which is very important so that as a professional we can maintain the highest level of knowledge possible.
