Jennifer brings the utmost professionalism to the field of cat sitting. She is incredibly responsible, considerate, and treats your cats, home, and even plants as if they were her own. Since I brought my two shelter kittens home in 2013, Jennifer Tonge of Cat et cetera has been their only sitter in those six years when I go away. She keeps in touch with me and texts me photos. I also hired her once to accompany me when I was taking my two cats to a new vet for the first time, as I was nervous about handling two carriers alone in a new environment. She is a cat lover through and through.

I highly recommend Cat et cetera! Jennifer takes wonderful care of my two cats... one who is sweet and needs an insulin shot twice a day and the other who is skittish and wishes she wasn't there. She's reliable and trustworthy and I never have to worry while I'm away.

We recently moved from Michigan to Salt Lake City with our two cats. We travel a bit and needed someone kind, responsible and a kitty lover! As well as food/water Jennifer cleans up after them, brings in packages and keeps us updated! She's recommended some new products for us as well and a local vet. She also posts cute pictures on Instagram of her kitty charges! I highly recommend her; she is 100% trustworthy, responsive and flexible.

Jennifer is truly a professional cat sitter who loves cats. When I hire Jennifer I know that my cats will have food, medicine, and clean litter boxes every day. She also sends updates with photos to let me know that all is well so I can enjoy my trip without worry.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My standard fee is $25 per visit. I charge $5 for each additional 10 minutes requested. Holiday rates of $30 per visit are charged only for holidays that I celebrate; there is no holiday rate for Columbus Day, Presidents Day, etc. Prices for vet trips are determined by distance, duration, and time of day. A drop-off or visit of 15 minutes or less within a distance of 3 miles is $35. Mileage or time rates are added for visits requiring round trips greater than 5 miles.
