FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since my photography classes in college, I watch live webinars online regarding the latest headshot styles and latest editing techniques so that my work is current. I subscribe to multiple photography channels and magazines and do my best to keep up on equipment, lighting techniques, editing, software etc.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Commercial portraits and headshots for actors, models, businesses, corporations, socialites, dental/medical/other professional offices, real estate agents, entrepreneurs, therapists... basically anyone wanting an honest and professional image that they can be proud to display online or otherwise.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would look for a photographer that has a specialty in the exact type of images you want. Family portraits are different than headshots or baby photos or weddings. With good equipment, many people can take decent images that look good but there are compositional differences and rules that change within genres of photography. I donÂt want to shoot your wedding, family or children. I want to create an awesome headshot of you that gets the attention you want from casting agents, business clients, job prospects, or just looking your best in front of your professional network.
