I offer competitive pricing and several discounted package options for your wedding dance and ballroom dancing needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with clients to determine what package option best suits their wedding dance needs. Together we will build a dance routine to fit the selected music, dance floor, event theme and couple's personality. For clients just looking to pick up a new hobby, or work towards a competition in ballroom dance, I will work with you to set goals and milestones for your dancing instruction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Samantha is an experienced dance instructor, having taught beginners and advanced students since 2012. She is the founder of Love.Live.Dance, a ballroom dance studio that caters to students of all skill levels and goals, including couples looking to social dance, individuals interested in competing in DanceSport, and brides and grooms preparing for their first wedding dance. In addition to traditional ballroom dance styles, Samantha is also a Dancevision Certified Instructor and a certified wheelchair dance instructor through the American Dancewheels Foundation. She is committed to making dance accessible and adaptable for all students, and has incorporated the principles of the psychology of movement and instinctive perception into her instruction through her certification with the Baricchi Institute of Movement and Art. Samantha and her students have been active competitors in the Utah Star Ball, Salt Lake City's annual ballroom dance competition, since 2017. They have also competed at multiple local, regional, and national events, including the Las Vegas Lights competition, where Samantha was awarded 1st place for "Top Female Teacher." Samantha is also a Pro Smooth Rising Star Finalist and a Pro Smooth Open Semifinalist.
