- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
MY PRICING IS COMPLETELY UNCOMPLICATED AND HAS GARNERED ME THE EDGE OVER MY COMPETITORS WHO USUALLY HIDE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH COMPONENTS AND SERVICES FROM THEIR PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS. BE WARY OF PROPOSALS THAT ONLY PROVIDE A TOTAL COST FOR LABOR AND MATERIALS, IT IS WITHIN THESE PROPOSALS THAT EXTRA CHARGES ARE HIDDEN. MAKE SURE YOUR PROPOSAL HAS A LIST OF MATERIALS WITH COST FOR EACH AND A SEPARATE ESTIMATION FOR LABOR.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
AT FIRST CONTACT I DETERMINE THE NEEDS AND BUDGET OF THE CLIENT, IF NECESSARY I SCHEDULE A FREE WALK THROUGH TO EXAMINE THE INSTALLATION AND PROVIDE THE CLIENT WITH INSTALLATION AND EQUIPMENT AND BUDGET OPTIONS. INVOICING OF THE PROJECT IS DETERMINED ON A CASE TO CASE BASIS BASED ON SIZE AND NEEDS OF THE PROJECT BUT TYPICALLY 1/2 DOWN IS REQUIRED ON LARGER PROJECTS AND 1/2 ON COMPLETION.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I HAVE OVER 25 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THIS INDUSTRY. I HAVE AND DO CARRY A PROFESSIONAL LICENSE WITH CERTIFICATION TO WORK THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF FLORIDA FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL LICENSING. BEFORE RELOCATION TO FLORIDA I CARRIED A PROFESSIONAL LOW VOLTAGE LICENSE IN UTAH FOR OVER 22 YEARS IN GOOD STANDING. TO OBTAIN A PROFESSIONAL LICENSE FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA YOU MUST PROVE: 1-PROOF OF A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY 2-A CURRENT FASA AND BASA LICENSE 3-CLEAN CRIMINAL BACKGROUND 4-PROOF OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY 5-PROOF OF EXCELLENT PERSONAL AND BUSINESS CREDIT 6-PROOF OF PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR INSURANCE 7-PASS STATE TESTING TO PROVE KNOWLEDGE OF FLORIDA CONTRACTOR LAWS AND ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE.
