- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would recommend that the customer look for a provider that has a similar taste and style of what they're looking for. Rather than looking only at cost, look at what they provide.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew how much work really goes into a flower shop. Everyone tells me they would love to work in a shop and be around flowers all the time. I love flowers and I love working with flowers, but it is a demanding job. The flowers need constant attention, they don't design themselves, after a busy day there is a giant mess that needs cleaned up, and there are some really, really late nights around prom season. The arrangements we send out and the flowers we use are beautiful and last so long because we are constantly working and taking care of our product. So yes, it's a fantastic job...but a demanding one.
