Vijay went above and beyond for our engagement photoshoot and it was a great experience! We asked for a very short, simple shoot to get a good photo for our invitations, but Vijay put in a lot of effort and gave us a lot of value despite the small job we were asking for. He took a lot of photos and showed us as he went, which was helpful. He did a great job picking backgrounds in the nature setting we were shooting at He was happy to retake photos we wanted to try again. He edited a number of them, which was more than we expected but very much appreciated! He showed us photos of different poses on his phone, which was very helpful-- photographers often try to just verbally coach people into the right spot and that can be confusing. Next time I would want to think more about what kind of poses I wanted beforehand, but Vijay is very open to catering to what the couple wants, which is great. We got a number of beautiful shots despite both being very awkward picture takers, so we're very happy with how things turned out!

Vijay was an absolute joy to work with! He took spring outdoor photos of my family (including my parents and toddler) at Capitol Hill with the cherry blossoms. Vijay arrived on time and was very patient when it took us forever to find parking (going so far as to give us tips on where we could find a good place to park our car).
Although Capitol Hill was full of people and it was later in the day, Vijay worked extremely hard to take photos of us without the crowds. He brought his step-stool with him to get special shots we wanted and carried it around all over the place without any complaint! In fact, Vijat was smiling the entire time he was with us -- it made us feel more like spending time with a friend, which helped to relax us and get more natural photos.
Vijay gave us plenty of time to set up our shots and he was extremely (I cannot emphasize this enough) patient with getting nice photos of our toddler who was not in a "photography session" mood that day (I'm sure any parent understands what I mean)! Vijay just kept clicking away and did not lose any enthusiasm in capturing our special family photos! He even spent extra time with us after the crowds left to get some angles we were not able to get previously.
It was such a fun photo session that I did not want it to end! I highly recommend Vijay for family and outdoor photography -- you will be very satisfied with his work!

VJ was amazing to work with! He has such an eye for the right staging and was so patient with our active puppy that we brought to the shoot. VJ has such a kind and caring personality that made the whole experience very comfortable for me and my husband. He came with ideas for posing and was so prepared overall. 10/10 would recommend!

Vijay is a great photographer and very pleasant to work with. I hired him for my baby's baptism and he was able to capture special moments. He did so well with taking random photos during the ceremony as well as editing the best ones we selected. Dont pass up the chance to pick him, I highly recommend Vijay!
